On Monday 9th May, after work, from the Platform,
2 fine Temminck's Stints seen, one a typically grey adult summer plumaged bird the other a browner bird but both showing the distinctive crouching posture whilst feeding and straw coloured legs. From the marsh in front of the raised platform, a
female Ruff,
Green Sandpiper,
Wood Sandpiper, and fine Chestnut-ruffed
male Ruff reminds me of a Tudor nobleperson in all their customed finery!
