On the evening of Wed 30th April at Carlton, a calling
Cuckoo flew ahead of me at the North path of Peto's it originally flew over calling from Peto's and perched in the tree just beyond the hide. I met Andrew we saw
2 Ruff and
1 Common Sandpiper, no sign of PH.

Thanks Jutty, whereabouts exactly did you see the Night Heron fly over, adult or immature? Do you know the direction and time of observation? Very useful to know as one was seen at Kessingland Sewage works flying towards Lowestoft so likely to be the same bird
